Field Assistant & Greeter

Part-Time Seasonal Field and Events Assistant-Always accepting applications.

Schedule: 10-20 hours/week | Seasonal (March–October)
Pay: $19+ per hour, based on experience WEEKENDS REQUIRED 
Start Date: Immediately

We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Seasonal Field Assistant to help greet customers, assist with events and help maintain our flower field and pumpkin patch through the growing season. This is an outdoor, weekend positi0n in our flower field and pumpkin patch. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has great customer service and takes pride in keeping things beautiful. This role supports the Field and Events Managers in a variety of tasks. from customer service to ensuring the field remains tidy, productive, and guest-ready. â€‹

Responsibilities Include:

  • Greeting customers and checking them in 

  • Assisting with events and event set up

  • Planting seeds and assisting with flower maintenance

  • Tidying walkways and guest areas

  • Supporting prep and cleanup for you-pick days

  • Other field and maintenance duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • Positive Disposition and great customer service

  • Enjoys events and follows directions

  • Enjoys outdoor, physical work in all weather conditions

  • Prior experience agriculture is a plus

  • Physically able to bend, lift, stoop, and stand for extended periods

  • Dependable, self-motivated, and task-focused

  • Works well independently and with a team​

Field & Events Assistant 

Part-Time Cashier – Always Accepting Applications

Schedule: 10–15 hours/week
Pay: $19 + per hour, based on experience WEEKENDS REQUIRED

We're looking for a friendly, outgoing, and dependable Cashier to join our team at The Flower Farm Gift Shop. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, has retail or sales experience, and takes pride in creating a welcoming shopping experience.

The Cashier is often the first and last person our guests interact with and plays an important role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring accurate sales transactions and maintaining an organized retail environment. This position supports daily gift shop operations and will occasionally assist with private events, picnics, and special event setup.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service

  • Processing sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system

  • Handling cash, balancing the register, and following opening and closing procedures

  • Following established sales and cash-handling protocols

  • Assisting with retail displays, merchandising, and product restocking

  • Supporting inventory tracking and organization

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting gift shop environment

  • Assisting with light cleaning and organizing supplies

  • Occasionally assisting with event setup, guest check-in, and event support for private picnics and special events

  • Other retail and customer service duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

  • Positive, friendly, and outgoing personality

  • Retail, cashier, or sales experience preferred

  • Comfortable using technology and point-of-sale systems

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Works well as part of a team and takes initiative when needed

  • Willingness to assist with occasional events and activities
